CONCORD, NH — A woman is facing two felony drug distribution counts after a multi-month investigation connected to multiple tips received by Concord cops since late last year, according to court documents.
Detectives began building a case against Denise Davenport, 57, of South State Street in Concord, after receiving “multiple tips from sources” since December 2025, accusing her of being a source of drugs in the city. One of the tips, as noted in a warrant, was provided by a previous buyer involved in a prior police investigation, police said.
According to an affidavit, on May 6, the reporting detective and a sergeant went to the DoubleTree Hotel on North Main Street searching for Davenport. An employee at the hotel said they were familiar with her, but she was not there. The employee told police Davenport was “put on a do not rent list” after receiving a report of a hotel guest stating they believed she was selling drugs out of the hotel, the report said. The employee said after Davenport checked out, they searched the room and found white powder residue on one of the surfaces in her room, which they suspected was drugs, an affidavit said. The employee also told police that a fire alarm had been covered in her room to prevent it from being activated.
The hotel, formerly the Holiday Inn, recently underwent an extensive renovation by the Duprey Companies.
Five days later, a confidential informant told police Davenport was going to meet her “plug” — slang for drug source, at the Friendly Kitchen, to purchase more drugs, an affidavit said. The source gave specific information to police about Davenport, and the detective and officers began staking out her and the drug source on Christian Avenue, Stickney Avenue, and South State Street at the new Concord Coalition to End Homelessness apartment building.

The detective said their “observations corroborated the tip provided by (the confidential informant) and further corroborated Denise Davenport’s involvement in the distribution of illegal drugs.”
On May 13, the detective requested a search warrant for Davenport, including her backpacks, bags, and other items. Officers who previously worked on Operation Granite Shield efforts were activated to conduct a search and capture Davenport.
Just before 8 p.m., a detective spotted Davenport at the intersection of Pleasant and South State streets, apprehended her, and placed her in custody, a report stated.
During a search, police found 81.88 grams of fentanyl, valued at more than $2,400, some of which was contained in 12 bags, as well as 1.96 grams of crack cocaine (about $240), 6.27 grams of methamphetamine ($120 to $240), $140 in cash, a digital scale, and empty baggies.
After being charged, processed, and read her Miranda Rights, the detective accused Davenport of admitting to selling fentanyl, crack cocaine, and meth. She admitted to selling drugs for about a year, and that she typically picked up 40 to 50 grams of fentanyl to sell at a time, a report said.
“Denise stated that she sells to customers at the Friendly Kitchen and estimated that she typically sells to about 15 different customers,” the detective wrote. “She stated that she purchased the quantity of drugs with the intention of selling the drugs in 5-gram increments.”
Davenport admitted she did not really use drugs, only a little bit of meth, the affidavit stated, but was not a user of fentanyl.
Davenport was held without bail and is due back in Concord District Court for a probable cause hearing on May 19.
A few hours later, police raided the Coalition’s apartment building and arrested Michael Scott Davis, 54, of Concord, on a warrant out of Merrimack County Superior Court; Crystal Marquis, 46, of Concord, on a resisting arrest or detention charge; Brittany Price, 29, of Concord, on a Merrimack County Sheriff’s Department warrant on a theft by unauthorized taking charge as well as warrants from the Hooksett police, Brentwood District Court, and two Franklin District Court warrants; and Wilkie Gabriel Reyes Reynoso, 27, of Nashua, on three felony counts of acts prohibited-possession of controlled drugs.
According to court filings, Marquis, who also lives on South State Street, failed to appear at a receiving stolen property charge in Concord District Court on May 7, and a warrant was issued for her arrest. She will be back in court for a hearing on June 1.
Davis’ warrant pertains to an accusation he failed to appear at a recovery court session on May 11 after being given a suspended sentence in February 2025 on a drug possession charge. Originally, he was charged with possession of a controlled drug, felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, and criminal trespass on railroad property in Northfield after an incident in April 2024.
Price’s active cases, according to court documents, include bail jumping out of Andover in June 2025. She failed to appear in court in December 2025, and a warrant was issued for her arrest. Price was charged with criminal trespass and theft after an incident in Andover in March 2025. She was scheduled to go to trial on Feb. 6, but failed to appear, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
A bench warrant was also issued for her arrest in December 2025 after failing to appear on habitual offender and driving after revocation or suspension charges in October 2025 in Kingston.
