Woman From Hollis Arrested On 2nd DUI And Subsequent Drug Charges In Concord

CONCORD, NH — A woman from Hollis was arrested in Concord last month after being accused of driving under the influence again, as well as new drug possession charges.

Around 2:30 a.m. on July 10, police were sent to Raising Cane's Chicken on Loudon Road for a report of a woman in an Infiniti who was slumped over the wheel of the vehicle. Officers arrived and confirmed a woman, later identified as Ashley Elizabeth Lantry, was "unconscious" and had parked the vehicle "haphazardly across two parking spaces," the officer noted. The engine was reportedly running and the headlights were illuminated, the affidavit said.

The reporting officer accused her of being impaired — noting her slow responses to questions, jerky movements, bloodshot eyes, and noticeable swaying after exiting the vehicle, the report stated. She admitted to falling asleep behind the wheel but denied taking any medications, they wrote.

Lantry consented to a search of her vehicle, and inside a pill container with Adderall and Lorazepam tablets were found, an affidavit said.

"Ashley initially denied being prescribed any medications before later changing her statement and claiming she had previously been prescribed the medications but was unable to provide proof of a valid prescription," the officer wrote.

Lantry was given a field sobriety test and then arrested.

"Based upon the totality of my observations," the officer said, "I formed the opinion that Ashley was under the influence of one or more drugs, or a combination of drugs and alcohol, to a degree that impaired her ability to safely operate a motor vehicle."

A record check found Lantry's Massachusetts driving privileges were suspended due to a prior operating under the influence conviction. She was accused of admitting she had a suspended license for several years and had just not completed the requirements necessary for reinstatement.

The officer also found a prior drug conviction from January 2025 in Hillsborough County Superior Court South, the report stated.

Lantry, 39, who has an address of Worcester Road in Hollis, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth-subsequent, possession of Adderall, possession of Adderall-subsequent, possession of lorazepam, and possession of lorazepam-subsequent charges, all felonies, as well as driving under the influence, DUI-second, transport drugs in a motor vehicle, and driving after revocation or suspension. She was arraigned in Concord District Court later that morning and pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charges. A probable cause hearing was held and the case was boundover to Merrimack County Superior Court on July 23, where she had a bail hearing and requested a lawyer.

Lantry was released on personal recognizance. As part of her bail conditions, she was required to enter a treatment facility by July 27.

She is due back in superior court on Oct. 8 for a dispositional conference.

According to a court record, the prior conviction was after an incident in Hollis. Lantry was also charged with driving after revocation and transporting drugs in a motor vehicle, but those charges were nolle prossed. She was given a two year jail sentence and $434 fine, both of which were suspended for two years.
