CONCORD, NH — A woman from Amherst was arrested in early September on trespass and threat charges after an incident on Plymouth Drive.
Around 11:15 p.m. on Sept. 3, officers were sent to Plymouth Drive for a report of a domestic disturbance. The complainant, a man in his late 30s, said he was trying to pick up a child, his ex, Lauren Paige Marcucci, 35, of New South Drive in Amherst, and her current boyfriend were arguing, and she would not release the child to him, according to an affidavit.
When officers arrived, the complainant and another woman were standing in the driveway and spoke with police. Another man, in his early 40s, also spoke with police at the front edge of the lawn. Later, Marcucci was spoken to, the child was seen, and one officer reported seeing a knife "on the front steps of the home, in front of the front door," the report said.
Officers spoke with the homeowner, who said he and Marcucci had been dating for about two months up until that evening.
He said the child was having a medical issue and they went to the pharmacy to get medication. During that time, he and Marcucci began arguing about whether she should contact her ex to get picked up, he said. They drove back to Plymouth Drive and continued to argue, the report said. The man said he was OK with her calling her ex because he wanted Marcucci out of his life. When they returned home, Marcucci and the child went outside, and he removed a handful of her belongings from the home, the report said. After that, he accused her of throwing things in the driveway.

The homeowner went inside and accused Marcucci of attempting to enter his home, but she would not let her in, standing in the doorway. Marcucci, he said, "pulled out a knife from what he thought was her side and dropped it on the ground." She picked it back up and removed if from the sheath, he told the reporting officer in an affidavit.
"(The man) said that when Lauren pulled out the knife, he didn't know what was going on," the affidavit said. "(The man) said he briefly wondered to himself if Lauren was going to stab him."
The homeowner said he did not think Marcucci threatened him with the knife or said anything to him about it, repeating that she only removed the knife and was standing in the front door, the report said.
The report also said the homeowner told Marcucci to leave three or four times.
The reporting officer walked over to the second officer, Marcucci, and the child and saw a plastic mold for the knife and the knife itself, about 12 inches long with a 7-inch blade, the report said.
The second officer spoke to Marcucci and claimed she denied that anything had happened, the report stated. When asked how the knife got to the ground by the front door, the reporting officer said, "Lauren said that she had no idea how it got there and then proceeded to tell me how it was her fishing knife."
The reporting officer spoke to the ex and another woman who was with him about the child, and he said Marcucci "didn't sound right on the phone when she had called him," which is why he drove up from Merrimack to pick up the child, the officer wrote. The ex said, after speaking to the homeowner about the situation, Marcucci began to ask what he said and when he refused to say anything to her, she would not release the child to him, the report said. The child eventually went into her father's truck with the second woman.
The child reportedly told the woman, when asked about what she said, "something to the effect of '(the man) was saying mean things to mom so mom had a knife'," according to the affidavit.
Police arrested Marcucci and she was held without bail. She pleaded not guilty to the trespass charge on Sept. 4 in Concord District Court. She was released on personal recognizance and required to stay away from Plymouth Drive in Concord and the homeowner.
Marcucci is due back in court on Nov. 24 for trial.
According to posts on Patch, Marcucci was arrested in Amherst in August 2012 on a revocation charge. In January 2013, police arrested her on a warrant in Amherst. In October 2014, she was charged with driving under the influence, suspension, and an open container violation.
