CONCORD, NH — Police are seeking tips from the public after someone made a threat against the Bishop Brady High School community.
Belmont and Northfield police are investigating the threat, which was made on Monday and led to classes being canceled on Tuesday, according to Lt. Thomas Yerkes of the Concord Police Department's bureau of investigations.
The department did not reveal the specific nature of the threat, but it issued a Concord Regional Crimeline Alert requesting assistance.
"This incident remains an open and ongoing investigation," Yerkes said. "At this time, there is no danger to the public related to this incident."
Previous threats have been made against the school in the past.
In December 2025, the school was evacuated after a bomb threat that was later determined to be fake. In 2015, Brady was placed on modified lockdown after a threat reportedly made by a student.
The latest threat came less than two weeks after an arrest was made in a threat case involving a Massachusetts teen and a Nashua charter school. Nearly four years ago, St. John Regional School in Concord, the city's Catholic middle school, was closed after an active shooter call at the school. The St. John incident was one of many that day, as the New Hampshire Department of Safety handled several "active shooter" hoax calls.
