Whether you are an avid runner or have yet to lace up those new running shoes, the Concord Family YMCA invites your participation in Resolution 5K, the Inaugural New Year Family 5K Fun Run/Walk.
The event kicks off at the NHTI campus in Concord on Saturday, Jan. 5, at 10 a.m. Race day check-in and registration are in the Lobby of the Student Union Building.
Registration information is available online at concordymca.org, by calling 228-9622, or by visiting the YMCA’s welcome center at 15 N. State St. The first 100 registered participants will receive t-shirts. Register by Dec. 28 to take advantage of a low $20 pre-entry fee; additional family member registration is just $5 per person. Late registration after Dec. 28 is $25.

The Resolution 5K Family Fun Run/Walk is open to family members of all ages. There will be awards for fastest overall Male + Female, as well as awards in each of the following age categories: 14 + under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
Pre-registered entrants may pick up their race packet on Friday, Jan. 4, at the Concord Family YMCA from 4 to 6 p.m., or on Saturday, Jan. 5, at NHTI’s Student Union Building beginning at 8 a.m. Water will be provided on the 5K race course, and at NHTI’s Student Union Building.
