Annual Burgerfest Fundraiser Begins Today

The Barley House’s annual Burgerfest event for Fred’s Fund to benefit the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth is underway.

The restaurant will donate $1 for every burger sold while local business sponsors will also match the donation, based on the order. If you order a beer, New Hampshire Distributors will add another $1.

“That’s $3 per meal that can help fund the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at CHaD,” noted Brian Shea, the owner of The Barley House, in an email.

Last year, more than 3,000 burgers were sold, according to Shea. The event will be held through June 20.
