Another Concord Citywide Parking Ban Issued (April 4-April 5)
Breaking: The city of Concord has issued a Winter Storm Event Parking ban through Friday morning. Here are the details.

CONCORD, NH — The city of Concord has issued a “winter storm even parking ban” alert due to the early April snowstorm, which could deliver anywhere from 4 to 20 inches of snow in the capital city.
No on-street parking will be allowed on any city street between 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, and 7 a.m. on Friday, April 5. City officials are banning parking in order to remove snow from city streets during the overnight hours. Violators of the parking ban are subject to receiving a ticket and being towed by Concord Police’s Parking Division, according to officials.
Free parking is available at city garages between 7 p.m. and 8 a.m. for lease-permit spots, marked with signage, and 9 a.m. on metered spaces. The city has three garages downtown on School Street (also known as the Durgin Block Garage), State Street (also known as the Firehouse Block Garage), and Storrs Street (formerly known as the Capital Commons garage).

Residents of the village in Penacook must also move their vehicles off the street.
Residents looking for free parking during the storm can park in the Canal Street Municipal Parking Lot at Village and Canal streets. This parking lot has a “no overnight parking” sign posted but this regulation is suspended during city-wide winter parking bans to accommodate Penacook residents. The city asks Penacook residents to only park in the public spaces on the south side of the lot along Canal Street.
