Another Fire Reported At The Bow Recycling Plant: Watch

Bow fire and rescue teams were sent to River Road on Tuesday for a report of a fire at the recycling plant.

BOW, NH — Bow firefighters were sent to another fire at the town’s recycling plant on Tuesday.

Around 12:30 a.m., capital region fire dispatch began receiving calls about smoke and fire on River Road at the recycling plant. A re-tone was issued a few minutes later. Police reported one of the trailers appeared to be on fire.

Dispatch said there was no exposure to the building; only a trailer was on fire. Bow EMTs, at the time, were taking a patient to Concord Hospital.

When firefighters arrived at around 12:45 a.m., the commander requested additional firefighters and a property manager, too.

“I’ll try,” dispatch said.

A re-tone was issued for more firefighters, and they put out the fire.

This is at least the third time firefighters have been called to the plant during the past two years. A fire, back in May 2020, went to two alarms, with firefighters spending hours extinguishing the fire. Another fire was reported at the plant in late May of this year, also involving a trailer on the compound.
