Another Fire Under The Interstate 393 Bridge In Concord Extinguished

Concord firefighters extinguished another homeless camp fire underneath the I-393 bridge on Saturday.

CONCORD, NH — For the third time in 48 hours, Concord firefighters extinguished a homeless camp fire underneath the Interstate 393 bridge.

Around 6 p.m. on Saturday, firefighters were sent to the area of The Friendly Kitchen and I-393 for a report of outside smoke. Firefighters arrived a few minutes later and immediately headed to the area underneath the Interstate.

Firefighters found the camp fire, extinguished it, and cleared the scene just past 6:15 p.m.

Concord fire and rescue teams were sent to the same area on Thursday at 8 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. to extinguish homeless camp fires.
