‘Armed And Dangerous’ Fugitive Arrested By Manchester Detective
Eugene Sandsbury was wanted on a parole violation and was accused of possessing crack cocaine after being arrested.

CONCORD, NH — A recent fugitive of the week from the New Hampshire Department of Corrections was arrested last month.
Eugene W. Sandsbury, 47, was wanted on a parole violation after being convicted on multiple counts of acts prohibited. He was featured in late August. Sandsbury was arrested by a Manchester police detective on Sept. 13, according to the department.
“(Sandsbury was) subsequently found to be in possession of crack cocaine,” officials said. “In addition to the active parole arrest warrant, Sandsbury was charged with one count of possession of a controlled drug.

According to superior court records, Sandsbury’s major criminal activity began in 2018, when he was accused of controlled drug: acts prohibited in Manchester and pleaded guilty to the charge. He was involved in a second acts prohibited charge out of Salem in November 2018, leading to a guilty plea 18 months later. His sentence on that charge was amended in August 2021.
In 2019, Sandsbury was involved in 10 more controlled drug: acts prohibited charges in Allenstown, Hooksett, Manchester, and Salem, leading to three guilty pleas. Three more drug charges were processed out of Manchester in 2020, leading to three more guilty pleas.

Last year, Sandsbury was charged with acts prohibited and deal-possess prescription drugs in Manchester and two acts prohibited charges in Goffstown. He was also charged with acts prohibited and felon in possession of a dangerous weapon in Allenstown in January. Three more guilty pleas followed.
