Armed Home Invasion Fugitive from Maine Caught
Tips lead to the capture of Miguel Carpio for robbery, burglary, and alleged gun crimes.

Less than 24 hours after the release of the latest Fugitive of the Week information, U.S. Marshals were able to capture a fugitive from Maine and arrest him in Manchester.
Miguel Carpio, 31, was located and arrested by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and several officers from the Manchester Police Department on June 17, 2015. He was wanted on multiple outstanding arrest warrants out of Maine for robbery, theft by unauthorized taking, burglary, criminal restraint and residential robbery with a gun.
According to Deputy Marshal Jeffrey White, Maine marshals reached out to Granite State marshals since all the tips were pointing to Manchester. Yesterday, marshals found him at an apartment on Townhouse Road.

“This arrest was made after Investigators received several leads based on the Fugitive of the Week feature combined with the hard work of a lot of investigators,” White noted in a statement.
U.S. Marshal David Cargill, Jr., said “I want to thank all of the agencies involved in this investigation, including; the Manchester & Waldoboro (ME) Police Departments, the Hillsborough, Belknap, Strafford & Lincoln (ME) County Sheriff’s Offices, ICE and several deputy U.S. Marshals. It was the cooperative efforts of all these investigators from both NH and Maine that made this arrest possible.”
