The Concord Police Department supplied the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

John G. Crawford, 62, of Concord, was arrested at 1:10 a.m. on April 26, on a resisting arrest or detention charge. Police allege that while on Loudon Road, Crawford was driving a Volkswagen GTI erratically, including a U-turn in the middle of Loudon Road and then, a turn into the Everett Arena parking lot. He allegedly “threw several small articles out the window” of his car. The items turned out to be his license and registration. The officer went to speak with him and he was allegedly “angry and dismissive” and wouldn’t show the officer his hands. The officer tried to secure him and he allegedly refused to allow himself to be cuffed. Eventually, he succumbed and was charged. He had a court date on June 2.

Gallant, 50, of Gimanton Ironworks, was arrested at 12:40 p.m. on April 27, on two felony possession of controlled drugs charges and theft by unauthorized taking, also a felony, due to two previous misdemeanors convictions. He allegedly attempted to leave Sears on Loudon Road without paying for a $570 pressure washer. During a search of Gallant after he was arrested, a bag of heroin was allegedly found in his pocket. He’s due in court on June 9.

Wendell Greene Jr., 31, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 1:35 a.m. on April 28, on a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon felony charge, a prowling charge, and a bench warrant. An officer was on Lilac Street and noticed a man walking from behind the Apple House Furniture Store on Village Street wearing a black jacket and a hood over his head. The man saw the officer and “began walking at a faster pace” on Village Street “with his head down.” The officer caught up with him and demanded he stop twice before the man, Greene, turned around and allegedly “became verbally aggressive towards me asking why I was harassing him.” The two spoke for a bit and the officer asked what he was doing behind the store and Greene allegedly refused to answer. A check of Green yielded a warrant out of Franklin District Court on a criminal trespass charge. Greene allegedly became “emotionally upset” when informed about the warrant and was placed under arrest. He allegedly had a six-inch knife in a sheath attached to his belt. He was held without bail and arraigned on April 28.
