"Ashes to Go" and Ecumenical Service Mark Arrival of Lent on Wed. 2/10
Community invited to partake in Lenten offerings, including concert series

On Ash Wednesday, February 10, 7:30 a.m., St. Paul’s Church will host an Ecumenical service at their 21 Centre Street location in Concord, next to the State House. Special guests will include The Rev. Canon Hannah Anderson, Ms. Clare Chapman, Executive Director of NH Council of Churches, The Rev. Gary M. Schulte, Conference Minister of New England Conference United Church of Christ (UCC), Bishop Sudarshana Devadhar, United Methodist Bishop for the New England Conference, and members of the NH House of Representatives. The community is invited to mark Ash Wednesday with inspiring preaching, the imposition of ashes, and a holy meal shared with brothers and sisters from many denominations.
St. Paul’s Church will also offer additional Ash Wednesday services on Wednesday, February 10 at 12:00 noon and 5:30 p.m.
St. Paul’s Church will join the Episcopal Church of New Hampshire in presenting “Ashes to Go” again this year. “Ashes to Go” will be available on Ash Wednesday, February 10, 12:00 noon – 1:30 p.m. in Eagle Square, just off Main St. in Concord.

On Mondays during Lent, the community is invited to a series of lunchtime concerts at St. Paul’s Church from 12:15 p.m. – 12:45 p.m., beginning February 15. Attendees can bring a bagged lunch and enjoy music that’s uplifting during this season of spiritual reflection.
