CONCORD, NH — It’s 2024 New Hampshire first-in-the-nation presidential primary day.
Polls are open until 7 p.m. or 8 p.m., depending on where you live, so get out and vote.
Spotters and politicos reported light to moderate turnout around the state. The “write-in Joe Biden” effort had sign holders at polling locations in Concord, Manchester, and Merrimack, while former President Donald Trump also had supporters at the polls in Concord and Salem. Nikki Haley supporters were spotted in polling locations in the southern part of the state and the Seacoast, with Gov. Chris Sununu in tow. Former candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is campaigning for Trump in Windham, while U.S. Sen. Tim Scott, R-SC, is in Raymond. Members of Trump’s family are also in Nashua and Pelham.

Haley won the Dixville Notch voting, 6-0, in the first ballots cast for the presidential primary.
The latest Suffolk University tracking poll shows Trump expanding his lead over Haley, 59.6 percent to 37.8 percent. The RealClear Politics average of polls published in New Hampshire across many months has the former president leading by 19.3 percent.

Haley sent a press statement to media outlets that she will be hosting a “First-in-the-South” rally in North Charleston, South Carolina, on Wednesday night, indicating she will not concede tonight regardless of the outcome.
