The first person he spoke with owned a Tesla Model 3 on Callaway Drive. The vehicle records photos and videos, the report stated, of anyone attempting to access the car and the complainant showed the officer a photo of a Black man with short hair attempting to gain access to the vehicle.
On North State Street, another resident complained someone accessed his Chevrolet Silverado because it was ransacked. Missing from the vehicle were checks and a $695 gold watch which was recovered later by Plymouth police in another case.

Two other thefts were reported on View Street. One was missing credit and debit cards, one that was used at the Walmart in Plymouth, and another said a daypack and a jacket were taken.
The officer believed all of the cases were connected.
During the course of the investigation, the officer learned one of the cards was used at the Walmart in Plymouth. They spoke to an employee who said Plymouth police were called to the store to speak to a man who was possibly making a fraudulent purchase and had numerous credit cards. The officer spoke to police and found out Adenti was arrested, accused of being in possession of numerous stolen credit cards. His vehicle was also seized.
Police in Plymouth accused Adenti of purchasing more than $3,200 worth of VISA gift cards with the stolen credit and debit cards. After a search warrant was issued for his vehicle, police accused him of being in possession of the watch, checks, credit cards, backpack, and a jacket.
The Concord officer was able to access the video footage from the Tesla and in an affidavit, accused Adenti of attempting to access the vehicle. The vehicle showed him leaving the area in a Chrysler, according to an affidavit.
The video footage matched Adenti’s booking photo from Plymouth, according to the report.
An affidavit from Vermont State Police stated they were “actively investigating” Adenti on “an aggravated felonious sexual assault where a victim sustained bodily injury.” The victim’s credit cards were used hours after the attempted rape and robbery in Claremont and Newport, the report stated.
According to press reports, Vermont state troopers were sent to a Williamstown bar around 1:45 a.m. on Aug. 16 for a report of an aggravated sexual assault.
After the bar closed, the victim reported serious bodily injuries during the attack. State police in Vermont released a description of the suspect which was shared with other states. The investigation also led to store surveillance footage being shared of the suspect.
Adenti will be charged with attempted rape, robbery, and assault in Vermont.
