Author Tui Sutherland to Headline Family Keynote Event at 2025 NH Book Festival

Tickets for the fan-favorite event now on sale \

Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Book Festival (NHBF) has announced that bestselling author Tui Sutherland, creator of the wildly popular Wings of Fire series, will headline the Family Keynote Fanfest on Saturday, October 4 at 6:00 PM at the Capitol Center for the Arts.


Tickets went on sale Friday, July 25 at www.ccanh.com and are expected to sell quickly.
With more than 15 million books in print, Sutherland’s epic fantasy novels have captivated middle-grade readers around the world. The event will offer young readers and their families a chance to hear from the author in person and celebrate her famed dragon world. Sutherland will be signing books following the event.


Festival Gears Up for Another Unforgettable Year
This fall’s NH Book Festival will take place October 3–4, 2025, bringing more than 50 nationally recognized authors and poets to downtown Concord for a weekend of free author panels for all ages, keynotes, and family programming.

Now in its second edition, the festival offers a packed Saturday schedule of events including: a Festival Village on South Main Street and in the Capitol Center for the Arts with author stages, a poetry salon, book sales tent, author signing tent, exciting vendors, food trucks, and free live adult, youth, and poetry panel discussions. Friday features a special opening keynote with superstar mystery author Walter Mosely.


Festival Impact
Proceeds from ticketed keynote events like the Tui Sutherland Fanfest help fund the free Saturday programming. Festival co-founder Emilie Burack said, “we want readers of all ages to see themselves as part of a larger community of readers and writers. Bringing someone like Tui to the stage helps make that possible.”
