Blustery Thursday, A Chilly Weekend Ahead In New Hampshire: Weather Update

The NWS issued a gusty wind "hazardous weather conditions" warning for Thursday; temperatures drop down into the teens and single digits.

CONCORD, NH — Weather forecasters issued a “hazardous weather conditions” alert on Sunday afternoon, warning about gusty winds on Thursday.

The National Weather Service issued the advisory warning of wind between 25 to 30 mph and gusts up to 50 mph throughout the state from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday.

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects,” the alert stated. “Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.”

The alert stated driving on Thursday may be tricky, “especially for high-profile vehicles. Use extra caution.” Outdoor objects and holiday decorations should also be secured.

Temperatures will be in the upper 30s during the day, with sunny skies. They will drop into the mid-20s during the evening.

The wind will not be as severe on Friday, but it will be windy—10 to 15 mph with wind gusts of up to 35 mph. Temperatures will drop to the mid-30s, and overnight lows will be in the teens.

It will be a bit colder on Saturday, with sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-20s. In the evening, temperatures will drop to the low teens.

On Sunday, temps will be in the lower 20s during the day and single digits at night.

Similar weather is expected on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
