Blustery Wind Gusts Knock Out Electricity To Thousands In New Hampshire
Eversource, New Hampshire Electric Co-Op, and Unitil report outages to around 15,000 customers around the Granite State.

CONCORD, NH — Around 15,000 utility customers in the Granite State are without power after blustery wind gusts moved into the region on Thursday.
According to alerts throughout the day, at the windiest peak, about 20,000 customers were without power. At around 3:30 p.m., that number had dropped to around 15,000.
Eversource, New Hampshire’s largest electricity provider, reported the most outages, around 9,000, down from about 16,000 customers around 3 p.m. Major outages — more than 500 customers, are being reported in Weare, Brentwood, Londonderry, and North Hampton. Other outages are reported in Bedford, Laconia, Manchester, Amherst, Merrimack, and surrounding communities.

Nearly 2,000 New Hampshire Electric Co-Op customers are without power, and most communities report a smattering of outages. Campton, Meredith, Moultonborough, and Brentwood are reporting 150 to 300 customers out.
About 1,300 Unitil customers are without power — including nearly 900 customers in Hampton without power. More minor outages are being reported in other Seacoast communities. About 125 customers are without power in Boscawen, while other Concord and capital region communities have between 60 and a handful of customers out. Restoration times range from 4 to 10 p.m., according to the company.

Liberty Utilities is reporting no power outages in the state.
