Bow Hit with Rash of Thefts from Vehicles, Garages
Police issue Concord Regional Crimeline alert asking for assistance with town-wide incidents; recommend removing valuables, locking doors.

Investigators at the Bow Police Department are asking for the public’s help in solving a rash of vehicle thefts during the past month, according to an alert from Sgt. Art Merrigan.
There have been at least a dozen thefts from vehicles, he noted, occurring town-wide, not in any specific neighborhood. The thief or thieves have been rifling through vehicles that have been left unlocked and have even been brazen enough to enter unlocked garages, stealing whatever loose cash they can find.
“If you are the victim of such a theft and did not report it, we would like to hear from you,” Merrigan stated. “If you see activity, a vehicle or a person that looks suspicious, please report it immediately.”

Merrigan added that sometimes, things that seem insignificant, could lead to an arrest or arrests.
“Please, remember to remove all valuables from your vehicles and always lock your doors,” he requested.
