Bow Man Faces Multiple Child Rape Charges
Kenneth Bradley was arraigned on 4 aggravated felonious sexual assault, 2 felonious sexual assault charges after an 11-week investigation.

BOW, NH — A man from Bow was arrested on child rape charges on Friday after a multi-month investigation.
Police arrested Kenneth Bradley, 55, of Albin Road in Bow on two counts of felonious sexual assault on Friday. Four more aggravated felonious sexual assault charges were added to his docket in Merrimack County Superior Court.
On July 13, police in Bow received a call from a woman in Hopkinton who tipped them off about a girl who claimed to have been sexually assaulted repeatedly by Bradley, according to an affidavit. The Division of Children, Youth, and Families was also involved in the case.

A woman was questioned by police along with a DCYF investigator and she denied any knowledge of the accusations or that they could occur because she would be able to tell, a report stated. She also said the girl suffered from mental health and behavioral issues, according to the affidavit.
But the next day, after speaking with the girl and others, the woman went back to the police and said there might be something to the accusations, and said something had happened the Saturday before, according to the investigator.

Police went to Bradley’s home along with a DCYF investigator and examined rooms for possible evidence. A sergeant found “several areas” with “stains of some sort” that were not visible to the naked eye. The evidence was bagged and sent to the New Hampshire State Police lab for testing. Police also learned there was a previous allegation against Bradley in the past — although no specifics were mentioned in the affidavit.
Police questioned Bradley who said he could not believe the allegation was happening again, according to the report. He was asked about something that may have happened on Saturday and did not mention anything out of the ordinary, the report stated.
The next week, the victim was questioned by the Merrimack County Advocacy Center and she accused Bradley of sexually assaulting her during the course of about nine months.
At the end of July, police requested a DNA swab from Bradley and he agreed, according to the affidavit. The girl and the woman also offered samples to be used as a cross-comparison with evidence taken from the home. Results came back on Aug. 19 and then, after further testing, Bradley and the woman were questioned again, the report stated. Police informed them that Bradley’s DNA matched evidence found in one of the rooms, matching the claims by the girl.
“Excuse me?,” Bradley blurted out, according to the report, while shaking his head “no” and saying it was not possible. The detective questioned Bradley and the woman and later, they left the station. The detective then accused Bradley of coming back into the station and stating he had not been truthful about the situation and his DNA may have been in the room in question due to personally relieving and touching himself, the affidavit stated.
On Sept. 9, the final DNA lab report was submitted to police confirming Bradley as a “possible contributor” to the profile.
“The report states that the probability of selecting an unrelated individual who would be included as a possible contribution of the male DNA profile from the sample is rarer than one in 290 billion,” the detective wrote.
An arrest warrant against Bradley was issued on Friday and he was charged at that time. He was arraigned on Monday and is due back in superior court for a dispositional conference on Dec. 14.
