BOW, NH — Police in Bow are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman found floating in the Merrimack River on Thursday.

The woman’s body was found on the shoreline near the River Road boat launch around 11:30 a.m. Witnesses and police reported the woman was naked, floating along the river, and then her body became caught in some brush. The body did not appear to be in the water for very long, according to police. Investigators have initially ruled the case a "probable drowing."
