CONCORD, NH — A woman in Concord is facing several felony charges after an incident inside an apartment on Manchester Street last month that was partially caught on video surveillance.

Police were sent to Dunkin’ Donuts around 3:15 p.m. on Nov. 14 to take a report from a man who claimed he was assaulted and threatened. The man said after a few years of going out together, he broke up with Autumn Rose Breedlove, 23, of Manchester Street in Concord, after a money fight which led to the allegations. He claimed she was stealing money from him and wanted to end the relationship, a report said. After doing so, the officer wrote, they began arguing about who would leave. Both names were on the apartment lease, but when he refused to leave, the affidavit said, she started punching and slapping him.

The man tried to push her away but was not successful. He claimed she struck him at least a dozen times, and the assault lasted around 20 minutes, an affidavit said.

At one point during the incident, the victim was brought to the ground in the kitchen by Breedlove, and he was dragged by the hood of his sweatshirt, choking him, the report said. The victim also claimed she grabbed him by the testicles and grabbed a firearm, too, and threw it at him, the report said. During the altercation, Breedlove was accused of grabbing a large butcher knife and moving toward him “numerous times.”

The officer noted the victim’s face was bright red, and he had several “superficial lacerations” on the side of his neck. But he also had a contusion on his forehead and red marks and lacerations across his chest.

The victim also told the officer there was surveillance footage from inside the apartment the officer could review, the affidavit said.

“The surveillance footage captures essentially the entire incident, which was roughly 20 minutes long,” the affidavit said.

The officer accused Breedlove of taking swings at the victim and him attempting to block them, the report said, as well as the couple arguing and pushing each other. As Breedlove attempted to grab him, he would push her away, the report said. The officer accused Breedlove of grabbing the victim’s neck, striking him, and throwing the handgun at the victim, which hit him in the back.

At times, the officer noted, the victim attempted to straighten things out — moving a table back in place after Breedlove was pushed off him and bumped into it and putting the handgun back on the table, too, the report said.

The officer accused Breedlove of dragging the victim on the floor by the sweatshirt around his neck and striking him in the head. A short time later, the officer heard Breedlove throwing something at the victim, out of view of the camera, with the victim pickomg up the item and placing it somewhere out of view.

The officer said the victim began to berate Breedlove while she continued to yell at him to get out. After about two minutes, Breedlove grabbed the victim again, but he pushed her away, the report said. The report said she grabbed his sweatshirt and struck him in the head numerous times while the victim pushed her away again. Breedlove was accused of grabbing the victim in the pelvis area and he began writhing in pain on the floor, screaming, “Let go!”

After getting up, he told Breedlove he was calling the police.

About a minute later, Breedlove was seen with a knife in her hand, “quickly walking toward” the victim while yelling at him to “get out!”

The officer wrote, “Autumn then quickly brings the knife roughly shoulder height before quickly putting the knife back down by her knees.”

The victim put a shirt on and then left the apartment. A minute later, Breedlove left the apartment.

The report stated the officer attempted to reach Breedlove by cellphone, but it went straight to voicemail.

A warrant was issued against Breedlove on domestic violence-criminal threatening-deadly weapon, criminal threatening-deadly weapon, domestic violence-second-degree assault-strangulation, second-degree assault-strangulation charges, all felonies, as well as criminal threatening, domestic violence-criminal threatening, two simple assault, two domestic violence-simple assault charges.
