Brrrr — Deep Freeze, Dangerous Wind Chills Coming To New Hampshire
Forecasters: Dangerously cold wind chills on Friday and Saturday will make temperatures feel like it is 30 to 60 degrees below zero.
GRAY, ME — Forecasters are warning of “dangerously cold” wind chills on Friday and Saturday as an arctic cold front moves into New Hampshire on Thursday night.
The front will “drive temperatures steadily down” through Saturday morning. At the same time the dip will lead to some of the coldest temperatures of the year in the Granite State, wind gusts of up to 30 or 35 mph are expected.
“The exact timing and magnitude of the worst cold may continue to fluctuate slightly over the next couple of days,” forecasters warned, “but at least a portion if not all of the watch area is expected to see dangerously cold wind chills.”
