Car Fire Reported At Dealership In Bow: Watch

Firefighters extinguish a Ford Focus that was on fire at Grappone Toyota on Route 3A on Monday.

BOW, NH — Firefighters in Bow quickly doused a car fire at a local dealership on Monday.

The fire was reported around 11:15 p.m. in the parking lot of the Grappone Toyota dealership on Route 3A. The vehicle that caught on fire was a Ford Focus and was in the parking lot of the southern side of the dealership.

When firefighters arrived about six minutes after the call came in, they reported flames from the car and possible exposure to another vehicle parked next to it. Both an engine and tanker were sent and the firefighters put the fire out a few minutes later.

The cause of the fire is unknown at post time. Firefighters are expected to continue their investigation of the cause on Tuesday, according to the Capital Area Mutual Aid Fire Compact dispatch.
