CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to Carter Hill Road for a crash on Sunday.

Just before 1 a.m., dispatch received a call about an accident on Curtisville Road. The caller stated the driver, a woman, seemed belligerent when they tried to assist her. Officers went to the area but found nothing. Dispatch then told the officers he mistakenly gave the wrong street name and the crash was on Carter Hill Road.

“Do you need fire?,” dispatch asked.

“Affirm … this car is a mess,” the first officer said. “She’s telling me now, ‘Everything hurts.’”

Firefighters were then requested.

The driver was identified as a woman in her 40s. During the accident, the car took out a city sign, and Concord General Services was notified about the damage.

A watch commander asked if officers ruled out impairment issues and the first responding officer said they had.

Around 1:45 a.m., EMTs took the driver to Concord Hospital for treatment with an officer heading to the hospital for more interviews with the driver.
