Concord Fire and Rescue teams have not determined the cause of the blaze; the family and a dog escaped without injury.

An early morning fire in Concord has taken the life of a pet cat but the home’s three human occupants and a pet dog are all OK, according to Concord Fire Chief Dan Andrus.
Concord Fire and Rescue teams were sent to 134 Airport Road at 5:24 a.m. on June 12, 2015. It took the teams about three minutes after the alarm to respond. When they arrived, firefighters found heavy fire coming from the second floor.
“The fire was knocked down quickly and was declared under control at 6:03 a.m.,” Andrus said. “Fire investigators were on the scene at the time of this release but a cause has not yet been determined.”
