Chalifour Joins The Merrimack, Meredith Village Savings

He was recently named vice president of residential mortgage sales.

Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB) and Merrimack County Savings Bank (The Merrimack), subsidiaries of New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp (NHMB), are pleased to welcome Mark Chalifour to their mortgage lending team, according to a press statement.

Chalifour will serve as vice president of Residential and Mortgage Sales for both MVSB and the Merrimack.

Chalifour brings with him more than 30 years in mortgage industry experience and most recently served as a Vice President at Merrimack Title Company, Inc. Throughout the majority of his career, he has also been involved with the Mortgage Bankers and Brokers Association of NH for which he has previously served as president and currently serves as Treasurer. In 2008 Chalifour received the organization’s Excellence Award for his unwavering commitment to the association and the mortgage finance industry.

“We’re excited to have Mark on board,” said Carol Bickford, senior vice president of Retail Lending. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in different aspects of the mortgage industry and will be such an asset to our lenders.”

Chalifour holds a Bachelor Arts Degree from Saint Anselm College. He resides in Manchester with his wife Ann.
