WHY A CELEBRATION?
In 2013, The Children’s Place (TCP) received a Community Development Grant of $200,000 from the City of Concord specifically to install a new energy efficient roof and provide improved access for parents and children with physical disabilities. In addition, renovations to the interior were necessary to meet the latest requirements of the NH Bureau of Child Care Licensing.
ABOUT THE CHILDREN’S PLACE
As one of NH’s oldest Family Resource Centers and the only one in Greater Concord, The Children’s Place, a 501(c)(3) organization, provides both educational and social programs and services to strengthen and enrich the lives of families with children, ages 2 months to six years. Since 1978, TCP has offered short-term childcare, parent-toddler playgroups, new parents and babies discussions, and educational programs responsive to parents’ interests and requests.
