City Of Concord Issues Citywide Parking Ban From Sunday Night (Jan. 25) To Monday Morning: Follow-Up
General services: Vehicles left on city streets between 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 25, and 7 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 26, will be towed.

CONCORD, NH — The city of Concord has issued a “winter storm event parking ban” for Sunday night to Monday morning.
No parking will be allowed on city streets from 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 25, to 7 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 26. The alert was issued shortly after snow began falling in the city on Sunday morning. As much as 18 inches of snow is expected in Concord during the storm, which is expected to end sometime between 7 and 10 p.m. on Monday.
“Please move your car off the street to help plows clear snow,” an alert stated. “Cars on the street can impede snow removal and block plows, especially on narrow streets.”

Violators of the parking ban will be ticketed and towed.
Free parking is available at three city garages through 8 a.m. on Monday in permit-lease spaces and 9 a.m. in metered spaces. The lease-permit spaces are marked with signage, the city said. City garages are located on School Street, North State Street, and Storrs Street.

Penacook residents are also required to remove their vehicles from city streets. Village residents can park their vehicles overnight in the Canal Street Municipal Parking Lot or the Tanner Street Municipal Parking Lot.
