Community Advancement Grant Deadline is July 1
Franklin Savings Bank fund is available for orgs in Boscawen, Franklin, Tilton, and other communities in, outside of the capital region.

The FSB Fund for Community Advancement was established in 1997 to provide support for projects that will enhance the lives of people in the communities served by Franklin Savings Bank, according to a press statement.
All applications must be postmarked by Wednesday, July 1, for consideration.
Eligible organizations are those recognized as tax exempt under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code; however, public agencies are also eligible to apply for assistance. Areas of support include, but are not limited to, economic development, affordable housing, education, health care, social services, environment, arts and humanities, human services, as well as programs addressing the needs of children, adolescents, and single parent families. Consideration is also given to programs and services that address the needs of low to moderate income families and individuals.

The primary market areas of Franklin Savings Bank include: Franklin, Tilton, Northfield, Bristol, Boscawen, Hill, Sanbornton, Belmont, New Hampton, Alexandria, Laconia, Gilford, and Gilmanton. The fund may also provide support for projects in other surrounding communities.
