Concord Celebrates Memorial Day 2019

CONCORD, NH — The city of Concord celebrated Memorial Day on May 27, 2019, with a parade and wreath laying ceremony as well as festivities at the city plaza outside of the Statehouse. Politicians, veterans and service members, scouts, and school bands performed during the parade which started Downtown Concord. It then made its way along North Main Street to the North End of the city.
At the Old North Cemetery, a wreath was laid while Taps was played. The parade then continued back to the Statehouse.
