Concord Fire Evacuates Tenants After Dryer Fire
One firefighter experienced minor heat exhaustion on Washington Street last night.

Concord Fire and Rescue teams were sent to Suds Appeal, the Laundromat on Washington Street, at 11:39 p.m. on April 27, 2015, for a report of a dryer fire, according to a report from Chief Dan Andrus.
Firefighters quickly evacuated nine residents from the six-unit apartment building and contained the fire in a single dryer unit. The tenants were relocated due to the smoke conditions, Andrus noted.
One firefighter experienced minor heat exhaustion and was treated at the scene, he said. No one else was injured.
