Concord Firefighters Distribute Free Winter Coats Saturday

If your children are in need, stop by the Concord Boys & Girls Club on Walker Street; the effort is part of Operation Warm initiative.

Is your child in need of a free winter coat?

If so, stop by the Concord Boys & Girls Club on Walker Street between 9 a.m. and noon on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, and receive one courtesy of Professional Firefighter of Concord Locals 1045 and 3195.

At that time, firefighters will be distributing brand new, American made winter coats to kids that need them, free of charge, first come first serve, “till we run out,” according to Jim Ducksworth, the president of Local 1045.
