Principal Tom Sica sent an email to parents about the incident.

“From our reports, we surmise that the two students were engaged in a physical altercation, and then one of the students chose to pull out a knife,” Sica stated in an email this afternoon. “At that time, students who witnessed the event called 911. One student was taken to the Concord Hospital and released a few hours later with non-life-threatening injuries.”
