CONCORD, NH — A local man was arrested yesterday on assault and endangerment charges after alleged abuse incidents against a child in Concord, according to police. Bradley Mobbs, 27, of Concord, was arrested on June 20, 2017, on three second-degree assault charges, all felonies, as well as endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned and held on $5,000 cash bail yesterday, according to Lt. Sean Ford, the commander of the criminal investigations division of the Concord Police Department.

The arrest, according to Ford, stems from an investigation into abuse charges by police as well as the New Hampshire Division of Children, Youth, and Families after a local mom contacted detectives yesterday about injuries to her son, who is under 13, who spoke to her about injuries he had received.

“Upon examining the child’s body, injuries were discovered,” Ford stated. “Concord Police detectives conducted an investigation, which confirmed the child’s injuries and circumstances surrounding how the injuries occurred."

Mobbs was later identified as the suspect allegedly responsible for inflicting the injuries to the child due to his connection to the victim's mother. An arrest warrant was issued for Mobbs and he was located and arrested by Portsmouth Police.
