Concord Police Arrest Alleged Drug Dealers

Cops: James Machado and Danielle Clark were allegedly dealing heroin, fentanyl on Greenwood Avenue.

The Concord Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit made two major arrests yesterday following what Lt. Timothy O’Malley calls a “lengthy investigation” into drug dealing allegations and activities at a home on Greenwood Avenue.

James A. Machado, 39, of Greenwood Avenue in Concord, was arrested on five felony counts of sale of controlled drugs (heroin and Fentanyl) on June 3, 2015. Also arrested was Danielle S. Clark, 42, also of Greenwood Avenue, for possession of controlled drugs/narcotic drugs (Fentanyl) with intent to distribute, a felony, and control of premises where controlled drugs are kept.

O’Malley, who is commander of the criminal investigations unit for the department, said after investigating Machado for a number of months, a warrant was issued for his arrest. After he was arrested, detectives executed a search warrant of the home and allegedly found Clark in possession of “a quantity of drugs.” She was then also arrested.
