Police seen searching the woods near the Hood Plant after unknown man smashes windows of a local home.

Concord Police are investigating a possible home burglary on Dolan Street off North State Street near the Hood Plant, according to Lt. Timothy O’Malley, the commander of the criminal investigations unit for the department.

At around 10:45 p.m. on April 29, 2015, officers were called to the area for a report of what sounded like knocking and breaking glass at a home. A neighbor of the home’s owner reported the information to police. The tipster stated that he saw a man, about 5-feet, 8-inches tall, wearing dark clothes standing in front of the home after hearing the noise.

“The complainant yelled at the subject, who then got into an older model SUV and fled,” according to O’Malley. “The SUV was last seen turning right off of Dolan St. and onto N. State St.”
