Concord Police Investigating Pedestrian Hit By A Car At Bow Town Line

Watch: A woman was taken to Concord Hospital with an active trauma alert after being struck by a car on South Main Street.

CONCORD, NH — Police and Concord fire and rescue teams were sent to South Main Street on Tuesday after a pedestrian was struck by a car.

Around 10:45 p.m., a Bow police officer came upon an accident just over the town line into Concord. Firefighters and EMTs, as well as Concord police, were dispatched to the scene. New Hampshire State Police also responded later.

Fire command, when they arrived a few minutes later, reported a woman in her 40s down in the road due to being struck by a car and requested a trauma alert at Concord Hospital, capital region dispatch said.

The first responding officer also requested traffic backup.

Another officer later said the woman was alert and conscious before being taken to the hospital.

The driver was identified as a man from Manchester. He was cleared of any signs of impairment, with an officer also stating the driver was volunteering to give a blood sample, according to scanner chatter.
