Concord, Canterbury Police Sent To Loudon After Shooting Reported
Concord, Canterbury, and Loudon officers were in the area of Route 129 and Route 106 searching for shell casings after an incident Friday.

CONCORD, NH — Concord and capital region police officers were in Loudon on Friday for more than an hour attempting to find a gunman after a shooting was reported.
Around 5:45 p.m., dispatch told officers they were being requested to Loudon to assist with a shooting that just occurred involving a vehicle where a person shot off at least four rounds at the intersection of Route 129 and Route 106. Canterbury police were also being requested, she said.
Later, dispatch told the officers the suspect was a man and he was now on foot in the area, heading east on Route 129. The weapon was a shotgun and the shots were possibly discharged into the air.

Several officers headed to the town to assist and began searching the area. The first Concord officer setup a perimeter east of Wiggins Road.
The officers began searching the area looking for shell casings. Officers learned later a fire department employee reported the shooting.

Around 6:15 p.m., an officer reported finding shotgun casings and began searching behind some buildings in the area. More were found near an electrical company and in a parking lot, dispatch said.
Just before 7 p.m., Concord officers returned to the city, according to scanner chatter.
