Concord Police Seek Assistance with Theft Case

Woman allegedly stole wine, crackers from Hannaford; called employees "sick and twisted."

The Concord Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest in a recent theft, according to a post on Facebook.

The alleged theft took place on Oct. 18, 2015 at approximately 12:40 p.m. at Hannaford on Fort Eddy Road.

On the above date and time, it is alleged that a female took bottle of wine and box of crackers and placed them into her purse. Prior to exiting the store, she was confronted by employees who she reportedly called “sick and twisted” for accusing her of theft. The woman then left the store, walked across Fort Eddy Road, and was last seen in front of GameStop in the Shaw’s Plaza.

An officer later reviewed store video which corroborated the allegations.

Employees told police that the female in question appeared similar to a person they suspected in a previous theft from their store.

Investigators recovered photos of this person of interest related to the matter and asking that anyone who has information about this case to call the Concord Regional Crimeline at 603-226-3100, or submit information online to the website at concordregionalcrimeline.com, or Txt TIP234 and their message to CRIMES (274637).
