Concord Police Seek Info on Cumbies Robbery

Concord Regional Crimeline alert issued after incident on South Main Street. Do you recognize this man?

CONCORD, NH - The Concord Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a man who allegedly robbed the Cumberland Farms location on South Main Street on April 9, 2016, according to an alert.

Officers were sent to the store at just after 8:30 p.m. and spoke with the clerk who reported that a subject had entered the store and ordered him to empty the register, according to police. The clerk complied with the demand and handed the subject a quantity of cash from the register. The subject then exited the store through a side door that faces north and was seen running across the parking lot toward the Days Inn, located across the street.

The subject was described as a male with tan or dark skin, possibly Hispanic, according to Lt. Timothy O’Malley, the commander of the criminal investigations unit. The man had dark curly hair and was unshaven, and estimated to be about 5-feet, 6-inches tall. The man was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.

Police later learned that a silver Kia had been seen leaving the area at about the same time as the robbery, according to the alert.
