Concord Police Still Searching for Bonin
Homeless man was last seen in late February; Facebook group started to assist with the search.
It’s been nearly two months since Concord Police issued an alert asking for help from the public in locating Paul Bonin, a homeless man in Concord, but, unfortunately, they have had no leads at all.
According to Lt. Timothy O’Malley, the commander of the criminal investigations unit, there is no update in the case.
“We have received no tips on his whereabouts or what might have happened to him,” O’Malley stated in an email.

O’Malley said the police, along with the New Hampshire Fish & Game Department, and deputies from the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office, conducted a search along the railroad tracks, from I-393 to the Bow line, in late April, about a week after the alert was released. They’ve also searched along the banks of the Merrimack River in Concord. Police have also reached out to several New Hampshire hospitals to see if he was admitted but none have seen him. The is a detective working the case, attempting to find out what happened to him. But so far, nothing. It's as if he just vanished.
Concerned Concord residents have formed a Facebook group, “HELP US FIND PAULY BONIN,” hoping to assist in raising awareness about Bonin.

Amy Lacen noted in a recent post on the site that some of the areas private citizens have looked included the old camp by NHTI, the areas around Shaw’s, Horseshoe Pond, North Main street, the tracks behind Tedeschi’s Food Store, roads between the Merrimack County House of Corrections and Concord, the pond around Walmart along Route 106 and Loudon Road, and the dog park area, but he hasn't been found.
Bonin is 50 and described as 5-3, 130 lbs., with long gray hair and long gray beard. He was last seen on Feb. 20, near the Hess gas station on North Main and Washington streets.
