Concord Regional Crimeline Seeks Witnesses After Langley Parkway Critical Injuries Crash

Follow-up: A girl was taken to a Boston hospital for more treatment after being critically injured in a head-on crash on Tuesday afternoon.

CONCORD, NH — The Concord Regional Crimeline is seeking witnesses to come forward with information after a serious multi-vehicle crash on Langley Parkway on Tuesday afternoon.

Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to the road, between Clinton and Pleasant streets, for a crash around 4:15 p.m. When they arrived, they found a girl, who was driving an SUV, entrapped in a vehicle with significant damage. A box truck was also damaged during the crash, which was later determined to be a head-on collision.

Another vehicle was also involved in the incident and that driver, another teenager, was not injured.

The truck driver and girl were taken to Concord Hospital — he with minor injuries while she sustained critical injuries requiring a trauma alert at the hospital. She has since been taken to a Boston area hospital for further treatment of serious injuries, Lt. Thomas Yerkes of the Concord Police Department said.

“Langley Parkway was closed for several hours,” he said. “(The roadway) has since been opened to traffic. This remains an open and ongoing investigation.”
