Alleged Sexual Assaulter Ordered Off Property in 2014: School

Shaker Road School separated affiliation with Donald Levesque due to his written communications with a former student outside of work.

Officials at the Shaker Road School in Concord say that the school is cooperating with investigators after the revelation that one of its former employees was arrested last week for sexual assaulting a boy who attended the school three years ago, according to a statement. According to Douglas Hicks, the head of the Shaker Road School, the school first learned about the criminal charges brought against Donald Levesque of Concord on Monday. Levesque, 30, is facing two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, three counts of sexual assault, a felony count of endangering the welfare of a child, three counts of manufacture of child sexual abuse images, and two counts of possession of child sexual abuse images, all felonies.

Hicks stated that there were “no allegations that any of Levesque’s criminal conduct occurred on school premises or during school hours; nor are there any allegations that Levesque’s criminal conduct involved using any school equipment or technology,” in a statement to Concord NH Patch today. The school, he noted, was committed to cooperating with all law enforcement efforts regarding the criminal allegations against Levesque.

“Shaker Road School wants to reassure all present, past, and future students and parents of the Shaker Road School community that our students are safe, and that our teachers and staff are well-trained, supervised, and certified by the state of New Hampshire,” Hicks said. “Shaker Road School believes that student safety and quality education depend on the professionalism, integrity, and dependability of all its faculty and staff.”

According to the allegations, Levesque was reportedly sexually involved with a local girl who was found to be of age at the time of the encounters. During the course of investigating the relationship with the girl, investigators found out the Levesque was allegedly involved in an extensive sexual relationship with a 13-year-old boy between November 2013 and June 2014, when he was a student at the school.

During the investigation, the boy reportedly described Levesque as a teacher. However, Hicks challenged that assertion, stating that Levesque was an assistant and the school “separated all affiliation” with him ”due to his personal, written communications with a former student, outside of his work hours, not on the SRS premises, and with his personal equipment and technology.”

Hicks added, “At no time did Shaker Road School have any knowledge of any criminal conduct described in the criminal complaints against Levesque.”

Levesque was held on $60,000 cash bail after his arraignment yesterday with prosecutors asking for higher bail and arguing that he posed an extreme danger to the community, according to NH1 News. He had also recently been arrested for trespassing toward one of the teens.

According to the Concord Monitor, Levesque was an assistant coach with the Concord Capitals football and cheer organization but had since been terminated from the position, according to Ray Raimo, the president of the organization who is also Levesque’s attorney.
