Concord School Board Holds Budget Hearing

Public can offer input on Wednesday, Oct. 22, on fiscal year 2014-2015 budget vote.

The Concord School Board will be holding a public hearing and then a special board meeting on the fiscal year 2014-2015 budget and tax rate at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22.

The meeting will be held in the boardroom in the basement of 38 Liberty St. in Concord.

The public will get to speak at 5:30 p.m. and then the board will hold a special meeting after public comment to vote on a final budget and set the tax rate.

Seven of the nine board members must be present to approve the budget, according to school officials.

The agenda includes information about state building aid and a discussion about bonding capital projects at this time.
