Concord Teen Allegedly Caught Burglarizing Main Street Tattoo Shop
Jacob Bouchard, 18, was allegedly involved in previous incidents.

A local teen is facing another burglary charge after allegedly being caught by an off-duty police officer leaving a tattoo parlor on South Main Street after a break-in.
Jacob Bouchard, 18, of Concord, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. and charged with burglary and default or breach of bail conditions.
According to a Concord Police press release, Bouchard was nabbed after allegedly ransacking Anaconda Tattoo and Piercing, a tattoo shop located on 59 S. Main St.

Police allege that an off-duty New Hampshire State Hospital police officer detained Bouchard at gunpoint after allegedly seeing him exit “the store holding a screwdriver and some boxes,” according to Lt. Timothy O’Malley, the commander of the criminal investigations division of the department. The off-duty officer drew his gun and ordered Bouchard to drop the items and get on the ground, according to O’Malley.
Concord officers reported from the scene that they found the front door of the business shattered. While moving around to the back of the store, officers “located the suspect lying face down near an entryway,” being held by the off-duty officer.

Bouchard, police later learned, was out on bail and had been arrested on other burglary allegations in November.
“Bouchard had been released from the Merrimack County House of Corrections approximately 12 hours prior on personal recognizance bail,” O’Malley noted.
Previously, Bouchard has racked up a string of arrests during the last year including allegations of stealing change from a motor vehicle, a burglary at the S&W Sports Shop, and criminal mischief.
