Concord Teen Involved in Route 106 Crash
Breaking: An accident was reported this morning in Belmont between a pickup truck and a Mack truck that tied up traffic for hours.
BELMONT, NH — Police in Belmont are investigating an early morning accident on Route 106 on July 29, 2016, between a pickup truck and a Mack truck that sent a local teen to the hospital, according to the Laconia Citizen.
The vehicles collided at just after 6:30 a.m. after the pickup truck driver allegedly drifted into the southbound lane, according to the report. The teen was later transported to Lakes Region General Hospital by Belmont Fire and Rescue teams. The road was closed and traffic was backed up for a number of hours, according to Patch readers and witnesses.
