Concord Woman Arrested For DUI Accused Of Crashing Into NH State Trooper Cruiser
Valerie Cray of Concord was arrested after being accused of crashing into a New Hampshire State Police cruiser on South State Street Monday.

CONCORD, NH — A woman from Concord was arrested on drunken driving and conduct after charges after a crash on South State Street near West Street on Monday night, according to state police.
Around 10 p.m., a New Hampshire State Police trooper was conducting a traffic stop in the South End when their cruiser was struck by a driver in a Honda sedan, according to Tyler Dumont, the public information officer for state police. The cruiser, he said, was behind another vehicle on the right side of the road. The cruiser’s emergency lights were also active, Dumont said.
The driver of the Honda — Valerie Cray, 64, of Concord, then was accused of driving into the cruiser.

“Cray continued a short distance before pulling her vehicle into a driveway,” Dumont said. “(The) trooper immediately released the first driver and turned her attention to Cray.”
After an investigation, Cray was arrested for driving under the influence and conduct after an accident as well as an open container of alcohol violation. No one was injured during the incident, Dumont said.
