According to police, an emergency ex-parte order was issued in Concord Family Court directing Carson to turn in her two daughters, 3- and 4-years-old, to their biological father on Aug. 11, 2015.

A few days later, the father reported to police that he had still not heard from Carson or the girls and hadn’t heard from them for about two weeks.

Detectives and officers began conducting checks of known locations that Carson might be frequenting and also contacted members of her family.

“Some family members reported hearing from Breanne however did not know of her location,” according to Lt. Timothy O’Malley, the commander of the criminal investigations division. “There were no indications that the children were in danger, however it was believed that Breanne was actively avoiding both police and family in an attempt keep the children from their father.”

Detectives later learned that she was in the Littleton area and issued an arrest warrant on Aug. 26.

The department then requested the assistance of the New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force to try and find Carson and the girls, according to O’Malley. On Sept. 1, marshals found her and the girls in Bethlehem. Carson was arrested and the girls were turned over to their father, safe and sound.

Carson was processed and released on personal recognizance bail. She’s due in court on Oct. 19.

“The Concord Police Department would like to thank the United States Marshals Service and the Bethlehem Police Department with their assistance in this matter,” O’Malley stated.
