Water Restored on Concord's Main Street
The leak in a hydrant on Main Street that was reported this morning as been repaired as of 12:20 p.m. on July 14, 2015.

Update, 12:28 p.m. Water has been restored to Downtown Concord as of 12:20 p.m. on July 14, 2015.
Previous post: A controlled water shut off is underway at this hour after construction crews found that ”an aged and corroding fire hydrant was unable to handle the required work it was receiving,” according to an alert. The leak led to a controlled water shutoff by the city of Concord.
The area that is affected by the shut off includes al buildings on Main Street and the side streets from School Street to Hills Avenue.

“There is currently no time table yet for the repair of this hydrant but crews are working diligently to fix the issue as soon as possible,” according to the alert.
